Definitely one of our favourite itineraries around India, this is a trip that takes one away from the better known and therefore busier tourist destinations and into Northern Kerala which remains unspoilt, we recommend traveling this circuit before it too becomes discovered. Cochin is a must, historic and charming to saunter around, but then be hosted by the family in traditional Keralan home, very few remain today, visit Telicherri famous for for generations for its pepper and learn to cook a traditional Indian meal with a celebrity chef, take in the spectacular countryside at Wayanad and then stroll along the deserted beach at Wayanad, with just a handful of fishermen and even fewer tourists. This truly showcases what Kerala is, simple, genuine, beautiful and fascinating!
