Mashobra is just a 40 minute drive from the town of Simla and provides a wonderful contrast to that busy town.  is a serene beautiful mountain retreat, offering an experience of nature on a grand scale, being surrounded by the grandeur of the towering snow-capped Himalayas.  There are numerous cool streams and meadows carpeted with flowers making it an idyllic destination for camping, picnics, treks, river rafting and leisurely walks. We also like it as a base from which to explore the historical former British Summer Capital of Simla, as one can appreciate its history, but then return to tranquility and the luxuriant comfort of the Oberoi Wildflower Hall.
