Sujan Raj Mahal Palace, Jaipur, Rajasthan
About
It’s difficult to know quite where to begin with SUJAN RajMahal Palace, so to quote Pilar Guzman, Editor-In-Chief of Condé Nast Traveler: “It’s the best of Indian Luxury”. It doesn’t get much better than that. Opened in 2015, SUJAN RajMahal has raised the bar in Jaipur, a city where there is already a glut of five- star hotel offerings. Injecting fun, colour, and unbridled luxury into this Art Deco palace belonging to the current reigning Maharaja of Jaipur, it is a hotel that defies comparison. The most sought-after rooms in the city (and there are just 14 of them) are decorated in vibrant pinks and turquoise blues, with eye-catching wallpaper, and tactile fabrics, all juxtaposed with old paintings of Jaipur’s royal family. Breakfast is served in the quirky ‘51 Shades of Pink’ restaurant, a great way to perk one up in the mornings, whilst elaborate cocktails can be sipped in the refined confines of the turquoise Polo Bar, and make sure to take tea out on the lawn under a pink pastel gazebo. Jaipur’s new Grand Dame hotel, it’s simply a must visit.""
