Set amidst Wayanad’s famed mist shrouded mountains, is a wonderful new homestay “Amaryllis” which looks down over the Karapuzha Reservoir and with the Western Ghats in the background, the views are truly spectacular.  Your hosts, Victor and Jini Dey having perfected their art at Tranquil have now opened their new home to share with like-minded people. They provide peace and serenity in natural surroundings, old world charm & hospitality, leisurely breakfasts, lazing around the pool, sleepy afternoons, tea on the verandah, evenings under the stars, followed by dinner and lively conversation.  Being a homestay you will experience fresh home-cooked meals, spiced with plenty of friendly conversation, warm hospitality and attention to your individual needs - the hallmark of a homestay experience. There is a total of five rooms and two luxury tree houses. Activities include gentle walks to more strenuous treks, bird watching, a farm tour, visits to the Edakkal Caves with cave painting over 2500 years old, the Banasura Sagar Dam and a tribal village can all be arranged. There are also two wildlife parks within driving distance, The Muthanga Wildlife Park and Tholpetty Wildlife Park.
